Please send
your e-mail order or mail order to the corresponding address above. List
the following items:
1) your name
2) the item(s) you'd like to order including size and quantity where applicable
3) the address where your order is to be shipped
4) a phone number where I can reach you, including the best times to call
Once I receive your e-mail or letter, I will phone you with
your order's total cost including shipping at which time I'll take your
credit card number and expiration date, unless you'd prefer to pay by
check or money order. For security reasons, it's best for you to provide
me with your credit card information over the phone or through regular
mail. Unless an e-mail message is encrypted, it's not a good practice
to use the internet to provide any personal financial information.
When I phone you, if I reach an answering service I'll leave a message
with the total cost of your order (unless you specify other instructions
in your letter or e-mail).
Please feel free to place an order by phone.
If paying by credit card, please have your card number with expiration
date ready when you call. If you'd like to pay with a personal check or
money order, I'll quickly take your order information over the phone and
you can then send your payment to me at your convenience. Orders will
be shipped upon receipt of a money order or once your check has cleared
my bank.
If you reach my voice mail, please leave your name and a phone
number with times when I can reach you, and I'll return your call ASAP.
All orders shipped within California are subject
to state tax.
If you are ordering from outside the United
States, please first e-mail me with all of your ordering information as
I've described above. Credit cards are not accepted for international
orders. Wire transfers, money orders, traveler's cheques or personal checks
are accepted pursuant to the conditions outlined above.
Print Sizes
As you browse through the various print categories you'll
see that each category page lists available print sizes for each image.
Please note that these print sizes include white borders. It is
also important to note that any given prints border dimensions will
proportionally vary from the images displayed on this website. Also, in
some cases print sizes are rounded off to the nearest inch. Exact image
and print dimensions can be provided prior to ordering; simply call or
send me an e-mail with your inquiry.
In some cases, custom print sizes other than those listed
can be accommodated. If you have need for a special size or oversize print,
please contact me with your request.
Every print has the image title and my signature displayed
within the border. Prints are made using high-end Epson printers and matte
surface papers. Most of the images on this website were made from scanned
film originals. All photographs are personally printed by myself.
Shipping
Most orders will be shipped using U.S.
Priority Mail. I have found that their rates are usually less expensive
than UPS for shipping small packages. Orders involving large quantities
are usually shipped using UPS or FedEx. Should you have special shipping
needs requiring express service, please e-mail or phone me and I will
do my best to accommodate you. International orders requesting a specific
shipping method should also first contact me by e-mail.
Returns
Should you be displeased with the aesthetic quality of the item(s) purchased,
you may return the item(s) to the address listed below. You will receive
a full credit or refund provided the item(s) are received in the exact
same condition as originally shipped. Returns will be accepted for
up to 30 days after the purchase date only. Also, please note that
all shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Refunds are
not available for international orders.
Returns on orders over $50 will
be refunded minus a 15% restocking charge.
Should your order be damaged in shipping, you have the option of
having it replaced or your money refunded. In either case, please repackage
the order and send it to the following address within 30 days after the
purchase date:

Once I have received and verified the damaged order, I will credit your
credit card account or send you a check for an amount equal to the
original shipping charges in order to cover your out-of-pocket return
shipping charge expense. Also, please include
a note or send me an e-mail stating whether you'd like a replacement order
or a refund. Please note that the original shipping and handling
charges are not refundable, even for damaged merchandise.
However, as previously mentioned, your out-of-pocket return shipping costs
will be credited and there will be no additional shipping charges
for replacement orders.
All prints are made with high-quality
materials including lightfast inks and papers. However, no warranty
is provided or implied regarding print longevity in regards to fading,
color shifting, and/or paper yellowing over time.
Privacy
davidmschrader.com
does not sell or rent your personal information to any individual, organization,
or mailing list. Your credit card information is completely secure and
not available to anyone other than myself. There are no computer records
of customers' credit card data.
Final thoughts...
My goal is to provide my patrons with
the highest quality art works
I can create using today's state-of the-art imaging techniques and materials.
In doing art shows for over 15 years now, I have had only about a half-dozen
returns. Five of these were exchanges for different art works and only
one was an explicit return (the piece in question was too large for its
intended space). My customers have been satisfied over the years, and
I do get quite a bit of repeat business. All of my art sales transactions
are done on a one-to one basis; you won't be dealing with a representative
or corporate salesperson.
Also keep in mind that it is impossible to match the imagery found in
this website to the actual art works. The ever-changing myriad of differences
in computers, monitors, browsers and operating software make this impossible.
In every instance, the actual art work, whether it be a note card, poster
or photo-print, is superior to what you see on your computer screen.
